Sunset from Brockstone Cottage White Moss

What a perfect day in Lakeland. The sunset is very early now, dipping down behind Loughrigg Terrace at about 3.45pm.
I've just taken this from the terrace of Brockstone Cottage ( on the coffin route above White Moss- your ideal self catering holiday cottage?).
The sun dips at the end of Loughrigg Terrace with Lingmoor in the background.
Two blogs in one day!

Beautiful frosty morning at White Moss

Well, I see I haven't been here for a while- work, floods, holiday have got in the way.
Today the diary said "DO CHRISTMAS CARDS", but hey, I'm self employed, I can do what I like ( more or less) so I grabbed the camera and popped over the road to White Moss Common, just as the sun was coming up over Loughrigg.
Three weeks ago after the big flood in Cumbria on Thursday,19 November, this whole are was a lake. I'll put some pictures of the floods up another day.
Today it just looks wonderful- there will be sunshine after rain ( Dire Straits!)

Even a total amateur can take a reasonable snap on a day like this.
