We have two breaks available in July at Brockstone, our Grasmere holiday cottage with amazing views of Rydal Water.

Break 1- Arrive Monday 8 July, leave Saturday 13 July- 5 nights, for just £450

Break 2- Arrive Saturday 13 July, leave Saturday 20 July- 7 nights for just £690

These are for two guests. There may be a small extra charge for additional guests.

Dogs are very welcome by arrangement. Brockstone is perfect for dogs- no passing cars, lovely paths all around......

Spring at last in the Lake District

It's finally warmed up, and we have some much needed rain top help the buds open. That's the good news.

I always like to add a photo,so I've used one I took last year, of a herdwick lamb hiding behind a bluebell. Our local lambs haven't been born yet- the farmer aims for St George's Day, 23 April. The sheep and lambs love our back garden on the fell side.
