It looks like our heatwave will be over by next weekend, but the good news is that you can curl up on the sofa by the log fire in the Wordsworth lounge and read, play the piano, play cards, chess or Scrabble , and just relax after a day in the fresh Grasmere air.
We've got a
special weekend bed and breakfast offer for two nights, Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, 7, 8, and 9 October. We're fully booked the following weekend, so if you can get here in the next few days you can take advantage of our special bed and breakfast offers. The leaves are already turning, and the lakes are looking beautiful ( as always).

Here's a photo of the log fire-( taken in Spring when the daffodils were out). Don't wait until spring to visit us though - treat yourselves to a great value October weekend and walk round Rydal Water, Grasmere, and enjoy the Lake District this autumn.
